eMAME 0.95. for N-Gage and S60 Smartphones This year, Santa Claus, got me a brand new N-Gage for present. I simply love this cute machine. It's an Mp3 player/recorder, a cell phone, a radio, AND a USB disk! It plays Tomb Raider, Sonic; it even plays MAME! Yes it does! I have some more pictures here for all of you (sorry about the bad quality - pics were taken with my old 'n' trusty 3650 with less than worse light conditions). Now... the news are that a new eMAME is out (version 0.95 that is) and the best part of it, is this (cut n' pasting from the official website): "... There is now an (experimental) version of EMame, micro-EMame60, which might run on older Series 60 devices with limited memory (Nokia 7650 and Nokia 3650). Please send me a comment if you tried this on a 3650 or 7650 so that I know if it works! ..." I don't know about you, but I find it quite amazing to be able to play MAME games onto my cellphone. Be a part of it by clicking here and download the .SIS Binaries for your cellphone! Whacker December 26, 2003 Xmas MAME and MAME32 0.78! Christmas presents 'under the tree'. Christmas presents from Aaron Giles part II: "Well, add another lost prototype to the list. This is a screenshot from Midway's Biofreaks. I guess this was actually released as a console game at some point, but this is the original arcade version running on Seattle hardware..." Click here to read all about it. CD-ROM support finally here? R. Belmond does it again and adds support for CD-Rom image files to MAME: "MAME: [UPDATED] Added CD-ROM support to the CHD format and CHDMAN utility. (For the curious, CDRDAO rips are used as input, and CDRWIN bin/cue could be added easily)..." Click here to view the screenshots and read the complete news update. Merry Christmas everyone! It's almost Christmas and even here (in Greece) the weather conditions turned polar! We, members of gameland.gr would like to wish to you and your beloved, anywhere in the world, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Whacker December 20, 2003 Seattle Games galore! Christmas comes early and Santa Aaron brings us a present: "...However, the glitches in most of the Seattle games are now gone as a result. I also fixed the W-buffering on the 3dfx emulation to be closer to what I think is correct. This fixes some minor glitches in a few of the Seattle games..." Click here to view the screenshot and read all about it. MameInfo dat 0.77u3 M.A.S.H. seems to be the place to be if you want an updated dat file for almost every game in your MAME dir. Official MAME WiP Gridle has been lost for sometime now, but if I judge from the mass of the pictures he posted online, he must have been really busy testing the new MAME drivers. So, here's another huge MAME WiP demonstrating what's coming up next on a monitor near you. Enjoy! Whacker December 8, 2003 Haze WiP & Aaron's Blues pt II... December 1, 2003 New Greek Site! Arxeiorama is the new site of our former host simhost. This is a site to serve you with all the latest cool software (freeware and shareware). I think that you should pay a visit sometime soon; you might find something interesting there (Note: Site is in Greek language). Happy Winter Everybody! Greece is not the country to enjoy winter really (we had a 21C here today and sunshine) but the idea of bad weather, snow, Christmas, is just great to change your mood :) Anyway. We're expecting a new MAME release sooner than the 1st snow (let's hope so) ;-)
