MAME 0.104u8 source released. Yet again, Aaron decides not to proceed to an official build, due to some outstanding issues. He promised though, that it's gonna be one out soon. This update adds several new games though, so get your compilers ready and your modems up n' running! Here's what's new in this release: ClrMAME Pro v. 3.85c released. For those who know, there's no better utility than this when it comes to rom-handling. Roman released another bug-fix version reaching now v. 3.85c. You can read the change log here and download it from here. Whacker March 23, 2006 MAME 0.104u7 source released. According to Aaron Giles, this is going to be the last of the intermediate series on the road to 0.105. I guess that the missing parts will be out due to the final release, but don't hold your breath! Whacker March 17, 2006 MAME 0.104u6 source released. I bet you're not 100% with the roms of the previous u5, nevertheless, the usual weekly update is out. I thought it was about time for an official build, but that's just me... Anyway. This one includes fixes from broken stuff of the previous intermediate updates also as a rewritten vector generator from schematics... When Aaron takes the time to clean up code this is what you have! Another huge diff update which leaves nothing intact. The technical information follows below, I have picked up the most important parts off the what's new file. Please read: 0.104u4------- IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR OSD DEVELOPERS: 1. osd_pause is no longer called directly. Rather, your osd_init function should register the osd_pause callback (if necessary) using add_pause_callback. 2. osd_die and is now handled by the core; you should remove this function from the OSD layer. 3. logerror is front-ended in the core; it calls to a new OSD function osd_logerror which handles the OS-specific file and/or debugger logging. MAMETesters Bugs Fixed ---------------------- memwindow0104u3red [Aaron Giles] i9600104u2ora [Aaron Giles] dietgo0104u2red [Aaron Giles] st0016_0104u3red [Aaron Giles] 8751MCUgames0104u3 [Aaron Giles] warriorb0104u2gre [Pierpaolo Prazzoli] cheat0104u3ora [Ian Patterson] New games added or promoted from NOT_WORKING status --------------------------------------------------- Fred Flintstone's Memory Match [Aaron Giles] New clones added ---------------- Dragon Breed (M81 pcb version) [Pierpaolo Prazzoli] New games marked as GAME_NOT_WORKING ------------------------------------ Crazy Fight [Pierpaolo Prazzoli] Search for the Magical Error [David Haywood] Final Furlong 2 [R.
